The present invention has opened a method of monitoring the side slope of the trunk canal fortransforming water in cold zone by using optical fber brag grid, which involves the feld of side slopedistortion monitoring technology. The present invention consists of the following steps: S01: fberBragg grating sensor is deployed in the potential deforrnation area of the side slope of the trunk canalfor transforming water in the cold! zone; S02: data of the fber Bragg grating sensor is automaticallyacguired by means of a data acquisition device, and transmit the data to the remote monitoringcenter; S03: the coliected data is processed and analyzed at the remote monitoring center to monitorthe distortion of the slope in real time. The invention monitors the deformation of the side slope bymeans of a fber Bragg grating sensor, combined with temperature compensation technology, toensure the accuracy of the monitoring data. At the same time, the methodology allows for integratedanalysis and early warning in conjunction with other monitoring tools, providing strong support fordisaster prevention and mitigation on the side slopes of the cold-zone trunk canal for transformingwater.
